R&J Strategic Communications has promoted Jeremy Dreisbach and Dexter Cheng, announcing the moves alongside the hiring of Andrew Serian to support its growing digital media team.
The Somerville-based firm said that Dreisbach, in his new role as account executive, will continue leading the day-to-day management of the agency’s commercial real estate and professional services accounts. That includes helping plan and execute integrated digital marketing and communications strategies designed to support clients’ business objectives and elevate their market visibility.
Dreisbach joined R&J in 2023 as an assistant account executive, the firm said, noting that his responsibilities also include media relations, thought leadership development, crisis communications and reputation management. Working closely with clients, he helps craft compelling narratives that highlight key milestones and achievements while positioning executives as trusted voices within their industries.
Cheng, for his part, rises to the role of senior visual designer in recognition of his growing leadership within R&J’s digital and creative division, according to a news release. In that role, he leads the design and execution of digital marketing and communications assets that bring each client’s brand and messaging to life across multiple platforms.
The former graphic design intern joined the agency in 2019 and has steadily advanced within its creative practice, most recently serving as visual designer. His experience includes email marketing, content marketing, front-end website design and traditional print design, the firm said, touting his ability to deliver memorable and impactful visual communications that support integrated campaigns across digital, social and advertising channels.
As digital media and content manager, Serian focuses on expanding R&J’s digital marketing, paid media and video production capabilities, the news release said. That includes leading the development and execution of data-driven digital campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta and Google, helping clients reach targeted audiences through performance marketing and paid media strategies.
Serian will also help advance the agency’s approach to artificial intelligence-driven search and digital content discovery, supporting strategies that ensure clients remain visible as audiences increasingly find information through AI-powered search tools and evolving digital platforms, R&J said. In addition, he’ll play a key role in expanding the agency’s video and multimedia content capabilities, helping develop visual storytelling and digital content designed to increase engagement across owned, earned, shared and paid channels.
“Jeremy and Dexter have built strong partnerships with the clients they serve and have grown into important leaders within our team,” said Scott Marioni, president of R&J Strategic Communications. “They bring strategic thinking, creativity and a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses, delivering communications programs that drive results.
“We’re also excited to welcome Andrew to the team as we continue to expand our digital marketing, paid media and video capabilities. As the communications landscape evolves with AI, new search behaviors and emerging platforms, we are focused on helping our clients stay visible, relevant and competitive.”
Dreisbach holds a bachelor’s in communication from William Paterson University, while Cheng graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in information technology and informatics.
