A residential and commercial countertop business has acquired a 12,000-square-foot retail property in Cherry Hill, in a newly announced deal by Rose Commercial Real Estate.
According to the brokerage team, Ilkem Marble & Granite will expand its operation with the help of the former Unique Interiors furniture showroom at 1604 Marlton Pike West. The business paid $1.2 million for the building, which sits on 0.43 acres in a corridor with national retailers, car dealerships and dining establishments, along with traffic counts exceeding 55,000 cars daily.
Rose Commercial Real Estate President Adam Rose and Director Sales and Marketing Michelle Marinello represented the seller, 1604 Route 70 LLC.
“Representing the sellers of this longstanding family-owned business was bittersweet,” Rose said, referring to Bob and Kathy Deniken, who sold the property after opting to retire. “We appreciate their trust when it came time to make such a personal and difficult decision to sell.”
