An audio company has secured 17,000 square feet of industrial space in Morris County, in the largest of two newly announced deals by Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey.
The operator, Powersoft, will occupy two units in the Flanders section of Mount Olive under a lease with an unnamed landlord. The space at 1 Goldmine Road provides the firm with much-needed proximity to major freight arteries and the ability to support both technical operations and logistical requirements, the brokerage firm said, touting it as the latest in a growing list of flex-industrial users around Interstate 80.
RRNNJ principals Brian Wilson and Scott Peck represented Powersoft, which they described as a global leader in professional audio technology, and the property owner.
“Whether it is a global tech firm or a staple local service provider, the demand for well-maintained, accessible space remains urgent,” Wilson said. “Our role is to bridge the gap between these diverse business needs and the evolving landscape of the I-80 corridor.”
Wilson also represented both parties in a 2,500-square-foot lease renewal by TLC, a lawn services company, at 7 Middlebury Road in Randolph. The deal also highlights the critical importance of industrial spaces under 10,000 square feet, he said, while touting the sustained demand for affordable, accessible properties in the area bounded by the intersections of interstates 80 and 287 and routes 10 and 46.
