FedEx Corp. has renewed its lease for a key facility in New York’s Hudson Valley, where it occupies 125,000 square feet under a deal with CenterPoint Properties.
Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey represented ownership in the transaction at 100 Enterprise Drive in Newburgh, the site of a building that was custom-developed to support FedEx’s air cargo operations at nearby Stewart International Airport, according to the brokerage team. It will remain a mission-critical component of the carrier’s regional logistics network, RRNNJ said, noting that the facility is used for receiving air cargo containers, processing shipments and redeploying deliveries to help keep up with time-sensitive operations across the tristate area.
“Our longstanding presence and market expertise in the region positioned us well to support CenterPoint with this important renewal,” said Tom Consiglio, a principal with RRNNJ. “100 Enterprise provides FedEx with direct, irreplaceable access to Stewart Airport, and their continued commitment reflects the strength of both the asset and the region’s supply chain ecosystem.”
Consiglio and Todd Hali, a vice president with the Parsippany-based firm, spearheaded the assignment for CenterPoint. It’s the latest in a long list of deals that RRNNJ has completed in Southern New York State.
“This transaction reinforces 100 Enterprise’s stature as a cornerstone asset servicing for this point of entry for goods handled by FedEx as well as the region,” Hali said. “This agreement further ensures the continuity of one of the region’s most strategic logistics operations for the foreseeable future.”
