Scarinci Hollenbeck LLC has strengthened its real estate and litigation teams in the region with the addition of four New York City-based attorneys.
They include Ryan Miller, who joins the Little Falls-based firm as a partner with extensive experience representing clients in real estate and corporate transactions, as well as in complex business, real estate and land use litigation matters, according to a news release. That provides what Scarinci described as a hybrid practice that benefits clients when disputes arise from business and real estate deals, which it said becomes increasingly valuable as transactions become more complex and disputes more frequent.
The firm also welcomed Carolyn Kruk, Eric LaMons and Scott Koop, who join as counsel.
“Joining Scarinci Hollenbeck marks a pivotal chapter in my legal career where I can further advance my practice and continue achieving successful outcomes for my clients at an even larger scale,” Miller said. “Scarinci Hollenbeck’s commitment to integrity, innovation and client-focused results deeply resonates with my professional ethos and track record. I am eager to leverage the remarkable platform and collaborative culture at Scarinci Hollenbeck to deliver exceptional value and service to our clients.”
Before joining Scarinci Hollenbeck, Miller practiced at a boutique New York City firm, where he started as a law clerk in 2004 and became a partner in 2010.
Kruk, meantime, brings experience in complex business and real estate litigation, as well as civil rights and public-sector defense, according to a news release, while LaMons maintains a multifaceted commercial litigation practice with experience in real estate disputes, financial agreements, international contracts and arbitration.
Koop, for his part, has built a strong practice representing individuals, developers, investors, lenders, landlords, tenants and business owners across both transactional and litigation matters.
“As we continue to advance our growth initiative in New York City, we are excited to welcome Ryan and his colleagues to the firm,” firm Partner Ken Hollenbeck said. “They are all very experienced and highly skilled practitioners, and their presence will significantly strengthen the excellent reputations that our litigation and real estate practices have built over the years. I look forward to working with all of them.”
