A specialized sink manufacturer has acquired a 45,000-square-foot warehouse and office building in Monroe, according to brokers with Sheldon Gross Realty Inc.
The brokerage said it represented the buyer, NBR Equipment, in its purchase of 10 Abeel Road from Abeel Associates. Terms were not disclosed.
NBR, a manufacturer of stainless sinks for kitchens, bars and other applications, plans to convert the building into a warehouse distribution facility, Sheldon Gross said in a news release. The property currently includes 50 percent office space.
Sheldon Gross Executive Vice President Jonathan Glick, Senior Vice President Glenn Jaffe and Sales Representative Matthew Leonelli handled the assignment for the West Orange-based firm. The team worked alongside co-broker Simone Realty in managing the sale.
“This is an ideal, centrally located facility for NBR,” Glick said. “I’m confident an increasing number of companies — in a broad range of categories — are going to look to make Monroe Township their home base. The town provides an absolutely outstanding business location, right off the New Jersey Turnpike.”
