Signature Acquisitions signed more than a dozen new leases, expansions or renewals in the second quarter across its New Jersey and New York office portfolio, the firm said Monday.
In a news release, the company said much of the activity took place in Cranford at its six-building Parkway Commerce Center complex. That includes a lease renewal with Cali Futures, an expansion with the U.S. General Services Administration and new leases with Ascend Hospice and MM Superior Freight, all at 11 Commerce Drive, while tenants such as Old Republic Title, doForms, Nauticus and Patriot GC signed leases at other buildings in the area.
All told, Signature recorded 38,000 square feet of lease transactions in Q2, the firm said. New commitments and expansions comprised 10,000 square feet, while renewals totaled 28,000 square feet.
“With the economy humming and the local labor market remaining resilient over the past 12 months, employers are seeking out Class A office spaces,” said Sandy Monaghan, a senior vice president with the firm. “After a period of uncertainty, companies are feeling confident to make longer-term commitments in buildings that are well-located and support their in-office company culture.”
Signature also completed three lease transactions at 1055 Parsippany Blvd. in Parsippany, a 10,000-square-foot lease renewal at 430 Mountain Drive in New Providence with ADC Therapeutics and a lease expansion at 888 Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge, New York.
“Every day, our leasing team talks to companies looking for buildings with amenities like fitness centers and collaborative spaces that make their staff enjoy coming to the office and work more productively,” Monaghan said. “By providing spaces where our tenants can fully maximize their potential, our properties are playing their own part in driving innovation across New Jersey and Long Island.”
