Alfred Sanzari Enterprises has attracted a new tenant to its Glenpointe campus in Teaneck, securing a lease for more than 2,500 square feet with a South Korean airline.
Based in Seoul, Asiana Airlines will move to the complex after deciding to leave its New York City location, according to a news release. The carrier will occupy 2,511 square feet of office space at the mixed-use campus, which is located at 300, 400 and 500 Frank W. Burr Blvd. at the nexus of interstates 80 and 95.
Newmark’s Jeff Schotz, Peter Rossi, Dan Reider, Peter Kasparian and David Simson represented ownership, while Kyoung Tae Kim of PMPA Inc. represented Asiana Airlines in the deal.
“The combination of amenities, flexibility and ease of access found at campuses like Glenpointe can often be difficult to find in New York City,” said Carolina Gutierrez, a leasing and marketing manager at Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “We are increasingly seeing New York City-based companies like Asiana Airlines looking to New Jersey as a viable option as they determine their future office space needs. We welcome Asiana Airlines to Glenpointe and look forward to helping their employees experience all that the campus has to offer.”
In announcing the deal, ASE said Asiana flies 111 different routes to 34 countries and offers international cargo transportation services. Its new office will sit just six miles from New York City, featuring on-site bus service to Manhattan and quick access to area highways.
Glenpointe is home to 650,000 square feet of office space, three hotels and food and beverage options. Sanzari recently completed a series of upgrades at the property, having enhanced its amenity spaces and added new technology aimed at engaging tenants.
