A family business has sold its 57,000-square-foot warehouse in South Plainfield, in a nearly $6.2 million transaction arranged by Bussel Realty Corp.
The brokerage firm announced Tuesday that it represented V.A. Designs, a manufacturer of custom woodwork and retail displays, in the sale of 15 Harmich Road. Oz Vehadar, a publisher of Jewish textbooks, acquired the complex for $6.15 million.
BRC’s Jordan Metz completed the assignment, while also representing the buyer.
“We led a marketing campaign heavily targeting buyers from the New York markets, which proved to be a valuable pursuit,” Metz said. “Companies continue to relocate to New Jersey and seek out functional industrial facilities with good access to our highway transportation network. Oz Vehadar plans to renovate and improve the building, and to make this its new long-term home to house its textbook publishing business.”
Located near Interstate 287, 15 Harmich Road offers quick access to the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 440, the Garden State Parkway and the Outerbridge Crossing to Staten Island. The warehouse has 12- to 18-foot ceiling heights, six tailboards and one drive-in for loading, along with 3,000-square-foot offices and 32 parking spaces.
