JLL has bolstered its team in the region with the addition of three accomplished tenant representation brokers in New York.
According to the firm, the new hires include Evan Margolin as vice chairman, Scott Ansel as managing director and Ben Levy as vice president, who join its ranks from Savills. They will focus on users of high-end office space, operating from JLL’s Midtown Manhattan office while servicing clients across the tristate area, nationally and globally.
“We are thrilled to welcome Evan, Scott and Ben to JLL, brokers with phenomenal reputations in the industry who will be leaders of our tenant representation platform,” said Peter Riguardi, chairman and president of JLL’s tristate Region. “Their skills and experience will be a valuable asset to our clients and to the firm as we continue our growth.”
A 20-year veteran of the industry, Margolin has represented more than 100 hedge funds and other boutique financial services firms in office leasing transactions, according to a news release. JLL added that he is “thoroughly immersed in the Midtown Manhattan marketplace” as part of his practice.
Ansel spent more than seven years at Savills, where he developed an expertise working in the high-end office market, the news release said. Levy, for his part, came from a real estate family and joined Savills in 2019 after graduating from Northwestern University, having been recognized for his business development efforts and quick comprehension of the overall marketplace and transaction process.
“The JLL brand presents a powerful value proposition at a time of uncertainty and opportunity for tenants in the market today,” Margolin said. “JLL’s reputation as a market leader and its broad array of service lines complement our commitment to achieving tenant goals, and we look forward to building on these synergies to best serve our clients.”
