The owners of a popular Jersey Shore restaurant have tapped Tokarski Millemann Architects to spearhead a redesign and expansion of the space.
In a news release, the Wall-based practice said La Dolce Vita Restaurant in Belmar has been a staple of the community for more than 20 years. Its planned renovation will allow it to take over the La Terraza Pizzeria next door and create one seamless restaurant, resulting in a modern and inviting space that still retains its classic Italian décor.
The new design calls for a spacious and open dining area and private dining for events at the Ocean Avenue business, along with an updated bar area that features a wide selection of craft cocktails and wines to complement its menu offerings, the news release said. The eatery will also expand the bar area to accommodate and add comfortable seating with a view of the Atlantic Ocean.
“We are thrilled to be part of the redesign of Dolce Vita Restaurant,” said Rick Tokarski, co-founder of Tokarski Millemann Architects. “We are working closely with the owner to create a space that is both functional and visually stunning, while still maintaining the classic Italian charm that customers have come to expect.”
