Accordia Realty Ventures has expanded its asset management team and promoted a longtime employee in order to handle its growing pipeline, the firm announced.
In a news release, the value-add investment firm announced the addition of three executives including Greg Wovna, who has been named its director of project services. In the role, he will be responsible for the construction of Accordia’s development projects.
Wovna previously worked at CCS, where he handled projects such as the mechanical system replacement at Public Service Enterprise Group’s corporate headquarters, procurement of the Prudential Center’s mechanical system and construction of condominium projects throughout New Jersey, the news release said. Prior to that, he was a vice president of development at Advance Realty, where he worked with Accordia’s eventual principals.
Wovna earned a bachelor of science from The College of New Jersey and a graduate certificate in project management and masters from Stevens Institute of Technology.
“We are definitely in a good spot,” Joe Romano, principal with Fairfield-based Accordia, said in a prepared statement. “Property upgrades that support our ‘Best in class’ philosophy have paid off. Leasing has increased significantly and our management business is booming.”
Accordia also announced the hiring of Arabella Rabbat as an assistant real estate manager to oversee the firm’s office, industrial and retail space throughout the Northeast Corridor. Rabbat, a Montclair State University graduate, was previously a sales representative at GAF and an executive assistant at Transwestern in Parsippany.
Meantime, Kathryn Massaro has joined as office manager and assistant real estate manager, the news release said. A recent graduate of Fairfield University, she will lend assistance to property marketing efforts while overseeing day-today-office operations.
Accordia has also promoted Sarah Loudon, a longtime staffer, to senior director of leasing. She will serve as the single point of contact for leasing across Accordia’s portfolio and work alongside firm principals to source, underwrite and execute acquisitions.
It is Loudon’s third promotion since joining the firm in 2012, the news release said. She is a graduate of Florida State University and most recently served as marketing director.
Accordia is currently overseeing capital campaigns and leasing for eight projects totaling 1 million square feet and has more in the pipeline, the news release said. Aside from its value-add investment business, the firm is managing portfolios on behalf of third parties.
“We take great pride in our work and the return on investment we generate for our clients,” Principal Jason Bogart said.
