Valvoline has signed a long-term lease in Maple Shade as part of a site that will also house a new-look car wash business, brokers with Vantage Commercial announced Thursday.
According to a news release, the uses at 586 Route 38 will reactivate what was the former home of a prior carwash and provide two complementary automotive services along a busy highway. Valvoline will use the location for an instant oil change center, while the property’s new owner will operate the modernized tunnel-style carwash as an independent business.
The latter will also feature a subscription-based service model, the brokers said, allowing customers to sign up for unlimited wash packages for added convenience and value.
“This project is a win for the town and the traveling public,” said Ken Richardson, vice president and partner with Vantage Commercial, who completed the deal alongside Sales Associate Jared Richardson. “Valvoline brings a nationally recognized brand and proven quick-lube service, while the updated car wash elevates the overall experience. Together, they create a one-stop destination for automotive care.”
