A salon operator is set to open in Gloucester County after agreeing to lease space in a downtown district near Interstate 295, brokers with Vantage Real Estate Services said Friday.
The brokerage firm announced that it represented Westville Broadway Properties LLC, the landlord, in the transaction at 154 Broadway in Westville. The owner is leasing an undisclosed amount of space to Fade, a hair studio and barber shop.
Vantage RES’ Mike Gries completed the assignment.
“Mike and the Vantage team were able to quickly identify a fantastic commercial tenant for us,” Westville Broadway Properties LLC said in a prepared statement. “One that would not only benefit us as the owner but attract a good crowd for the building and help serve the needs of the community.”
Gries, a sales associate with the Cherry Hill-based firm, touted the location’s proximity to both Interstate 295 and Route 130. He noted that the deal is illustrative of a broader trend of retailers and their clients taking careful steps to return to normalcy.
“After a significant period of dormancy, people are now looking to prudently regain the services they miss,” Gries said. “Speaking personally, I know I plan on being one of Fade’s first clients in their new home.”
