Vita & Vita Realty Corp. has leased up a new shopping center in Lincoln Park after securing a deal with The UPS Store, the developer announced Wednesday.
According to a news release, the operator has taken 2,177 square feet at Vita’s Lincoln Square at 31 Route 202, joining Dunkin’ and Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care at the 7,146-square-foot property. The new deal follows last year’s completion of the center, Vita & Vita’s third development in the borough, with plans for additional expansion as demand continues.
RIPCO Real Estate’s Matt Grundy represented The UPS Store. Andrew Vita and Sandy Vita from Vita & Vita Realty represented ownership.
Just across the intersection is the Corner Shoppes in Lincoln Park, which Vita completed in 2020. That property is home to Bubbakoo’s Burritos, Sport Clips, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Four3 and About Face.
The landlord added that its third shopping center in the borough, Lincoln Park Plaza, is anchored by a 30,000-square-foot Ace Hardware and Home Center, McDonald’s, Ion Bank and others. It has started construction on a 3,000-square-foot farmers market, while there is one 1,500-square-foot store available for lease.
Vita also said its team is before the Lincoln Park planning board to obtain approvals to expand Lincoln Park Plaza by 14,034 square feet. The addition will be on the north side of Ace Hardware and adjacent to an NJ Transit station at the corner of Comly Road and Main Street.
