Woodmont Properties has leased 75 percent of its new 120-unit luxury apartment complex in the Warren County township of Independence, the developer announced Wednesday.
Known as Woodmont Liberty at Independence, the property at Route 517 and Bilby Road hit the market in mid-April, offering a collection of one- and two-bedroom rentals less than two miles from Hackettstown. Some units have dens, Woodmont added, while residents also have access to a clubhouse with amenities such as a club room, a pool, outdoor grilling and dining areas and walking and hiking paths.
“The strong interest in Woodmont Liberty is a testament to Woodmont’s commitment to delivering a best-in-class product that exceeds residents’ desires,” said Stephen Santola, Woodmont Properties’ executive vice president and general counsel. “From the outset, the township was eager to create diversified housing options for local residents and add value to the community, and Woodmont Liberty achieves both laudable goals. We’re certain our residents will enjoy everything Woodmont Liberty, Independence and Warren County have to offer.”
Apartments at the property have high-end design, finishes and appliances, along with private patios and balconies, sound-absorbing construction and energy-efficient systems, windows and appliances, according to a news release. Woodmont has also catered to residents who work remotely with spaces such as private offices and work pods, all of which have complimentary WiFi.
Meantime, the property offers a bark park, pet stations a fitness center with strength and cardio equipment and a spin and yoga room with on-demand fitness classes, the firm said. Other features include a game den, dedicated storage rooms and a children’s playground.
Woodmont added that the development is accessible from several major highways including Interstate 80 and routes 46 and 206, while residents are close to the Hackettstown train station.
