A coffee chain is expanding in central New Jersey after leasing a vacant bank property in Clark, in a deal arranged by Atlantic Coastal Real Estate and RIPCO Real Estate.
According to Atlantic’s Chris Conway, who represented the landlord at 1005 Raritan Road, 7 Brew Coffee will demolish the shuttered Santander Bank branch at the corner of Raritan and Westfield avenues. It will then create a new pad site with drive-thru service as part of its footprint on the 0.7-acre property, which the operator will lease from Clark NJ Holdings LLC.
RIPCO’s Jake Franzman, Jordan Cohn and Clare Golz represented the tenant, listed as G7B LLC.
“It was a pleasure working with Jake, Jordan and Clare from RIPCO, as their involvement from beginning to end was a key component in getting this ground lease executed,” Conway said. “Both ownership and I, have felt that a QSR with drive-thru is the highest and best use of this property, which sits at one of the strongest signaled intersections in the town. We are all beyond pleased to bring a strong franchise group with an excellent concept to Clark, New Jersey.”
