A third-party logistics firm will occupy more than three-quarters of an Edison warehouse after leasing nearly 270,000 square feet at the property, brokers with CBRE announced.
The tenant, Gordon Logistics, committed to the space at 180 Raritan Center Pkwy. under a transaction with New York Life. CBRE’s Scott Belfer, Lou Belfer and Nicholas Nitti represented ownership at the 354,000-square-foot property.
“Gordon Logistics was looking for a long-term solution for its warehouse and distribution needs in a building with a corporate appearance and a facility that would handle its current and future growth,” said Scott Belfer, a senior vice president. “This location was ideal for the company’s needs, given its close proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike, Holland and Lincoln Tunnels, George Washington Bridge, Newark International Airport and the Port.”
Founded in 1940, Gordon Logistics serves as a supply chain solutions partner for major wine importers, alcohol and food wholesalers and distributors, according to a news release. The company moves and stores clients’ products from source to final destination.
