A law firm is moving its Monmouth County headquarters after acquiring a 20,000-square-foot office building in Marlboro.
The practice, Private Lender Law, will occupy 10,000 square feet at 475 Route 520 when it relocates in December from its current home in Freehold, according to a news release. Its new home will be 15 minutes from the Garden State Parkway and routes 18 and 9, providing easy access to New York City and other points throughout the region.
Terms were not disclosed.
“This is the next step to providing exceptional services to our clients,” said Jonathan Hornik, founder of Private Lender Law and chair of the private lender group at LaRocca Hornik Rosen & Greenberg. “Our new headquarters will allow us to continue to manage our growth as the marquee firm in the private lending industry.”
Private Lender Law, which also has an office in Lower Manhattan, currently represents more than 100 lenders and aggregators and maintains a presence across all 50 states, the news release said. Its partners advise private and public clients on secured and unsecured loan and equity transactions, providing specialized services such as 24-hour closing, topical legal research and analysis, review and management of master loan purchase agreements, nationwide title review, and private placements, co-lender and participation agreements.
In announcing the deal, the firm said 475 Route 520 was built in 1988 and previously housed the Marlboro Medical Annex. SFC Enterprises purchased the building in 2019 and renovated it before selling an interest to Private Lender Law.
