Indoor active entertainment company Sky Zone has announced plans to open new park locations in North Bergen and Rutherford.
Based in Los Angeles, the nearly 19-year-old operator lists nine New Jersey locations on its website. Those include just one facility in Bergen County and none in Hudson, but the newest sites will expand its footprint in the region.
Sky Zone did not disclose the addresses of the planned North Bergen and Rutherford locations.
“Over the past year, we have seen massive growth within the active entertainment space and Sky Zone is no exception,” said Mike Revak, senior vice president of franchise and business development at Sky Zone. “As we continue to expand across the country, this multi-unit agreement with experienced franchise owners is an exciting step in Sky Zone’s growth.”
Sky Zone has more than 60 attractions at its network of parks, according to a news release, including its Toddler Zone segment, Air Courts for kids and teens and Slick Slides, a free-fall experience. In addition to monthly memberships, the company offers birthday parties, fundraising events, school field trips, corporate outings and more.
