PNC Bank has taken more than 26,000 square feet at Overlook Corporate Center in Little Falls, in one of two newly announced leases at the property by JLL.
The brokerage team, which represented ownership in the deal, said the lender will occupy the entire 10th floor of the property at 150 Clove Road. It’s relocating from 1 Garret Mountain in Woodland Park as part of the 11-year, 26,117-square-foot lease with Theta Holding Co. LP.
JLL Executive Managing Director Frank D. Recine, Senior Vice President Derek DeMartino and Associate Vice President Nicolas DeCotiis led the agency team on the deal. Newmark’s David Simson, Jeff Schotz and Peter Kasparian represented PNC.
“We continue to see powerful leasing momentum at Overlook Corporate Center thanks to hands-on management and the elevated tenant experience that the property provides,” Recine said. “As market bifurcation continues to drive a flight to quality, the property is well positioned to meet ongoing demand for top-quality product at a time when many companies are reassessing their office needs.”
JLL also represented ownership in a renewal with Milliman, one of the world’s largest independent actuarial and consulting firms. As part of the 10-year lease, the tenant has reconfigured its space to occupy 5,898 square feet on the eighth floor.
The team of Brendan McBride, Matt Loughlin and Shaelyn Nuckel, also of JLL, represented Milliman.
The deals follow a recent lease at Overlook Corporate Center by law firm Scarinci Hollenbeck LLC, which committed to 18,529 square feet. The well-known office campus, which comprises two connected towers on 18 acres, has benefited from a recent multimillion-dollar upgrade by Theta Holding and its location at the crossroads of three major thoroughfares.
JLL added that the Montclair State University train station and other mass transportation options are within walking distance of the building, which is visible from highways such as Route 46.
