Logistics firm AEX Group has signed a 35,000-square-foot lease renewal at a Linden industrial building, brokers with Bussel Realty Corp. announced Tuesday.
The deal at 2020 South Stiles St., which is owned by Linden Wholesale & Distribution Co., will keep AEX in place for at least five more years, according to a news release. BRC Senior Vice President Jordan Metz and Sales Associate Benito Abbate represented the landlord at the
54,940-square-foot property, which sits on 1.8 acres near Route 1&9 and New Jersey Turnpike Exit 13, providing quick access to Newark Liberty International Airport, Port Newark-Elizabeth and the Goethals Bridge.
The building also has 2,500 square feet of office space, 18-foot ceiling heights, four tailboards and two drive-in doors.
“Commanding immediate interest from multiple tenants, the functional layout and strategic location of 2020 South Stiles Street drew multiple offers in a short span,” Abbate said. “The existing tenant signed a long-term renewal, enabling them to continue offering last-mile logistic services in northern New Jersey, and stabilizing the asset at a rate consistent with the current market.
