A fast-growing physical therapy chain has leased 2,600 square feet of retail space in Linden, in a newly announced deal by Lee & Associates New Jersey.
The transaction with SportsMed Physical Therapy brings the 19,000-square-foot property at 10 North Wood Ave. to full occupancy, according to a news release. It also represents an expansion of the practice’s footprint in New Jersey, providing it with a location with on-site parking and proximity to public transportation and major highways.
Lee & Associates New Jersey’s Kyle Janoczkin and Erica Davidson arranged the transaction on behalf of ownership. Tony Nabhan, George Marogi and Edwin Flores of Keller Williams City Views represented the tenant, which has locations throughout New Jersey and in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
“SportsMed was seeking a location along the New Jersey Turnpike corridor for its first Linden physical therapy center,” said Janoczkin, who previously arranged a separate lease with the chain. “Situated adjacent to NJ Transit’s Linden train station and with exceptional visibility and signage, 10 North Wood Avenue proved an ideal fit for this brand’s continued growth. In fact, the property has been a magnet for health services users, with multiple medical tenants reflecting the continued diversification of open-air neighborhood retail centers in recent years.”
