Two prominent residential real estate teams in Ridgewood have joined forces with the addition of the Viv Muldoon Group to The Gill Group of Keller Williams Village Square Realty.
According to an announcement last week, the merger amplifies The Gill Group’s already strong market presence in the region while lending its strong infrastructure to the unit founded by Vivienne Muldoon. They’re now set to combine their market knowledge while expanding their reach across Ridgewood, Allendale and neighboring towns, they said, as they draw from a similar client base and with a shared business philosophy.
“Vivienne and I actually go way back,” said Laura Gill, founder of The Gill Group. “I first met her when I sold her parents’ house, long before she became an agent. Watching her rise to become one of Ridgewood’s top solo agents has been incredible. And to now join forces with someone I’ve admired for so long feels like a full-circle moment.
“Our team is known for its marketing expertise, our reach and the results we get for our clients. Vivienne’s warm personality and expertise with vintage homes is special.”
Gill’s team has been the No. 1 unit at Keller Williams Village Square Realty for eight consecutive years, consistently closing more than $100 million in transactions annually, according to a news release. Muldoon, for her part, had been with Christie’s International Real Estate since launching in 2018 and earned several key industry accolades.
“The Gill Group is one of the most respected and well-known brands in the industry,” Muldoon said. “By joining forces, we’re perfectly well-rounded to serve our clients together. We raise the bar of residential property marketing. We actively stage, prepare homes and give our clients the resources they need to succeed. Joining The Gill Group will allow me to maintain this customized service while being powered by Laura’s infrastructure and branding capabilities.”
The expanded team will include a collaboration with longtime Listing Manager Ally Donoghue, who will work closely with Muldoon, Alison White and Gina Santucci to strengthen the listing team, the news release said. Additionally, Rosie Gunther-McCooe will focus on rental clients, and Sales Manager Tisha Ramge will continue to lead The Gill Group’s buyer specialist team with Joanna Lee, Kelly Goldstein, Gina Fierro, Jennifer Lee, Megan Zangrilli and Laura Anghelone.
“It’s all about collaboration in this business and strength in numbers,” Donoghue said. “We are able to offer white-glove personalized, one-on-one service with a full support team to handle the small details behind the scene.”
The timing of the merger comes as Ridgewood and surrounding towns continue to attract urban-to-suburban buyers, drawn by excellent commuting options, top-rated schools and a vibrant downtown, the agents said.
“Post-pandemic, people have been really eager to get out here, looking for ‘little cities’ away from the city,” Donoghue said. “The market is still very much a seller’s market, with inventory extremely low. People are sitting on low-interest rates and wondering where to go if they sell their house. And we can provide the solution.”
