Denholtz has hired Jennifer McCool as executive vice president and head of capital markets, in another key addition to the company’s senior leadership team.
In a news release, the Red Bank-based firm said McCool brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate investment experience and will work closely with CEO Katie Kurtz to grow and scale its capital formation strategy. She joins Denholtz from Kushner, where she was an executive vice president and led the day-to-day strategy and execution its investment management platform, having also held senior roles with WatermanCLARK and Related Cos.

McCool held the chief operating officer post at WatermanCLARK, a vertically integrated real estate investment and operating company, the news release said. With Related, she served as executive vice president and chief legal officer, overseeing corporate and transaction-related legal matters in major global developments and playing a key role in launching and executing on the firm’s private fund management business.

McCool holds a bachelor’s in business and corporate communications from the University of Delaware and a JD from New York Law School.
