DRG Architects is expanding westward with the acquisition of Vitetta, a practice with deep ties to Central Pennsylvania.
According to DRG, which is based in the Somerset section of Frankin, the move enhances its platform with the addition of Vitetta’s focus on historic preservation and public-sector expertise. It also expands a footprint for DRG that now includes Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, alongside existing offices in New Jersey, New York City and Philadelphia.
Vitetta will retain its current team, leadership and project portfolio, ensuring continuity for clients and collaborators, the firms said.
“I’m enthusiastic for this next phase of Vitetta and am looking forward to working with DRG Architects to expand our resources and further elevate the excellence of our services,” said Daniel Vodzak, principal-in-charge at Vitetta, which has offices in Media and Lemoyne, Pennsylvania.
Led by Hany Y. Salib, DRG Architects has been in business for more than six decades and specializes in government, education, multifamily and other sectors.
“This merger represents an exciting step forward for both DRG Architects and Vitetta,” said Salib, the firm’s CEO and president. “By bringing together our expertise and resources, we are better positioned to serve our clients with innovative, high-quality designs that create lasting impacts. Vitetta’s history of success and design excellence aligns perfectly with DRG Architects’ mission and values.”
