NAI James E. Hanson broker Randy Horning has earned the SIOR designation from the global Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, achieving a new milestone in his 18-year career.
The Teterboro-based firm said Horning, a vice president, has been involved in hundreds of lease and sale transactions and has completed market evaluations on health care, office, industrial, retail and investment properties. He now joins a dozen colleagues at NAI Hanson who hold the prestigious designation and affiliation with SIOR, which requires a broker to maintain a high volume of closed deals while focusing on professional ability, competency, ethical conduct and personal integrity and complete stringent educational requirements.
Horning specializes in health care leasing and investment sales, working alongside longtime partner Darren Lizzack, providing clients with consulting services such as financial modeling, negotiation, equity and debt restructuring and capital markets.
“The SIOR designation represents the gold standard for excellence in the commercial real estate industry,” said William C. Hanson, president of NAI James E. Hanson. “Through each stage of his career, Randy has exemplified SIOR’s core values while emerging as one of New Jersey’s most respected commercial real estate brokers and advisors. I’d like to congratulate Randy on this remarkable accomplishment, and I look forward to seeing his continued success in the years ahead.”
Horning is also the co-president of Commercial Real Estate Alliance United, an expansive network of real estate service providers, according to a news release. The organization comprises eight specialty groups — corporate, health care, retail, office, industrial, cannabis, New York City and multifamily — and more than 100 member firms across the commercial real estate industry.
SIOR’s network spans more than 50 countries and includes the globe’s top commercial real estate producers. Other designees at NAI Hanson include Barry J. Cohorsky, Jeffrey W. DeMagistris, Peter O. Hanson, William C. Hanson, W. Joshua Levering, Kenneth D. Lundberg, Scott K. Perkins, Andrew Somple, Christopher Todd, Russell Verducci, Thomas A. Vetter and Michael G. Walters.
