TRANSACTION SPOTLIGHT
Lindabury recently assisted a client in the bridge financing of three large development parcels in southern New Jersey, including a former airport in Cumberland County, vacant industrial property in Gloucester County and farmland in Monmouth County. The parcels were at various stages of approval for residential construction, and each was under a sale contract with a separate developer. The client required interim financing to complete the work required to obtain the development approvals. Lindabury helped develop the collateral package needed to close a private bridge loan, which included mortgages and assignments of rights under the sales contracts. The bridge financing allowed the client to complete the work needed to fulfill the sales contracts and the loan was fully paid prior to maturity.
