RIPCO Real Estate has made another key hire in the region, tapping industry veteran Jeffrey Albanese as a managing director in its Elmwood Park office.
Albanese, who brings more than 40 years of experience in real estate and operation, will specialize in pad site sales and development as part of his focus on the New Jersey and New York markets, the firm said. He comes to the new role after serving in positions such as Northeast regional real estate manager at Hix Snedeker, where he procured sites and entitlements, focusing on Tractor Supply and Dollar General to drive retail development.

Jeff’s proven track record of superior site selection and development capabilities will be a major asset to our brokerage teams across New Jersey and New York.”
The firm said that, in his past positions, Albanese has led full project lifecycles from market analysis and site selection to securing properties, obtaining governmental approvals and finalizing deals. During this time, he quickly advanced in development site research, generating four new Tractor Supply locations within just 18 months.
Albanese also spent 25 years as senior real estate manager at QuickChek, where he was instrumental in completing more than 90 new convenience store locations, RIPCO said. Aside from his corporate real estate experience, Jeff has also grown startup businesses and managed large-scale retail operations, overseeing more than 70 locations and 600 employees
