Mike Lyberatos has joined Alfred Sanzari Enterprises as vice president and director of property management, the Hackensack-based real estate firm announced Wednesday.
According to a news release, Lyberatos comes to the role with more than two decades of industry experience and deep expertise in property management, construction and portfolio operations. He’ll draw on that background in his move to Sanzari, where he is responsible for optimizing building operations, enhancing the tenant experience and driving long-term asset value through strategic oversight and operational excellence.
He most recently was vice president of property management and construction at The Birch Group, overseeing all property operations and capital project management across a diverse portfolio of assets in the tristate area.

During his tenure at The Birch Group, the firm achieved a record-setting year in 2021, securing nearly 200,000 square feet of new office leases and receiving the first-ever Sustainability Award from the Building Owners and Managers Association of Northern New Jersey, according to a news release. According to Sanzari, the award reflected Lyberatos’ leadership in enhancing environmental performance, implementing energy-saving strategies and introducing sustainable best practices across the firm’s managed portfolio.
Earlier in his career, he served as director of operations at Onyx Equities and as senior director of property management at Mack-Cali Realty Corp. He also held senior operational roles at a regional property management firm, where he oversaw more than 13 million square feet and was a founding team member instrumental in scaling its service platform and operational infrastructure.

Lyberatos currently chairs the membership committee for BOMA Northern New Jersey and is an active member of NAIOP New Jersey.
