Woodmont Properties has unveiled 120 new luxury rental homes in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, its latest addition to a development about 25 miles west of New Jersey.
In a news release, the firm said the project in Lower Macungie includes 99 two-bedroom, townhome-style units that provide two levels of living space and private garages. Floorplans span 1,285 to 2,075 square feet, the firm said, while the balance of the site at 3535 Grandview Drive comprises 21 apartment flats with a mix of one- and two-bedroom homes ranging from 825 to 1,350 square feet.
Leasing is underway at what’s known as The Villas at Valley and The Apartment Flats at Valley Square, which follow the 2017 completion of Woodmont Valley’s 204-unit first phase. The project, which also includes 13,000 square feet of retail space, expands the community’s footprint by 14 acres.
“The start of leasing for Woodmont Valley’s second phase is a key milestone for both Woodmont and the Lower Macungie community,” said Stephen Santola, Woodmont’s executive vice president and general counsel. “This expansion builds on the success of our first phase while introducing a thoughtful mix of housing and retail, furthering our commitment to creating dynamic, connected communities that enrich life throughout Lehigh Valley.”
The collection of high-end homes has opened alongside the property’s private amenities, which include a clubhouse and lounge, a heated pool with a sundeck, outdoor terraces with fire pits, grills and picnic areas. Residents also have access to a strength and cardio center with on-demand virtual fitness classes, a game room, a theater and a bark park, among other spaces, as well as lush gardens and scenic walking trails.
Woodmont, meantime, is set to welcome new retail concepts at the complex in late fall, noting that The Shoppes at Valley Square will occupy two mixed-use buildings. That will add to the benefits for residents of the project, located at the intersection of Route 100 and Grandview Drive, which provides easy access to the Lehigh Valley’s top shopping, dining and entertainment destinations and to corridors such as Interstate 78, Route 22 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Rental rates begin at $2,920 for The Villas at Valley and $2,095 for The Apartment Flats at Valley Square, the news release said. Woodmont expects to welcome residents later this fall.
