The Silverman Group has signed a nearly 114,000-square-foot lease renewal in Randolph with a specialty packaging company for the health care and food and nutrition industries.
Brokers with CBRE represented the tenant, Unette, in the transaction at 1578 Sussex Turnpike. That allows the company, an FDA-approved contractor specializing in filling liquids, creams and pastes into bottles, jars, tubes and single-use packages, to stay in place at a facility that has multiple loading docks and a drive-in door, as well as ample car and trailer parking and side-loading capacity.
CBRE’s Kevin Dudley and Marc Trevisan negotiated the 113,550-square-foot renewal on behalf of Unette, which is owned by the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Praxis Co.
“We’re pleased to extend our longstanding relationship with Unette Corp at the (Morris Business Park),” said Toby Nelson, vice president of leasing for The Silverman Group. “This tenant’s continued commitment speaks to the strength of our complex and the value we strive to provide our tenants.”
Dudley added: “The complex transaction required a unique approach in creating a deal structure that worked for both the tenant and landlord. The new, long-term lease enables Unette to grow its business in New Jersey.”
