Tim Hortons is expanding in New Jersey with a newly signed, 2,000-square-foot deal in the Forked River section of Lacey Township, brokers with The Goldstein Group announced.
The operator, Canada’s largest restaurant chain, is taking over a freestanding former White Castle building with a drive-thru at 245 North Main St. It’s leasing the space from Sunrise Pointe LP, securing a location that the listing team described as a prominent spot in a thriving retail corridor that will capture both residents and visitors from nearby communities.
The Goldstein Group President Chuck Lanyard and Executive Vice President Mark Handwerker represented the landlord. Jennifer Harrison of NAI DiLeo-Bram & Co. represented Tim Hortons, which has more than 6,000 system-wide restaurants in North America and globally.
“The new store marks another milestone in the brand’s continued expansion across the United States,” The Goldstein Group wrote in its announcement. “We are proud to have played a key role in helping Tim Hortons establish its presence in Lacey-Forked River. This opening is a testament to the strong demand for Tim Hortons in New Jersey and further solidifies the brand’s position as a leader in the quick-service restaurant sector.”
Area retailers and restaurants include The Home Depot, Wendy’s, T.J.Maxx, Burger King, Mattress Firm, Chipotle, TD Bank and others that draw traffic from nearby residential areas, schools and popular shopping destinations.
