Gottesman Real Estate Partners has hired Steven Osborne as a vice president, bolstering the team supporting its portfolio of commercial and residential properties across four states.
The family-owned firm, which is based in Chatham, said Osborne joins its team after more than 16 years with New York Life Real Estate Investors. In his new role, he’ll directly support CEO Andy Gottesman and Vice President Zach Levine in all aspects of asset-managing Gottesman’s holdings, including leasing, project management, capital improvements, budgeting, tenant relations and development.
He also will evaluate acquisition opportunities and debt strategies for a portfolio that includes 14 properties across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and North Carolina.
“Steven’s broad and extensive relationships in our markets and his background in asset management, finance, acquisitions and development helps to fortify us for the next stage of our growth and asset diversification,” Gottesman said. “He is a most welcome addition to our team.”
Osborne most recently served as a senior director of transactions and asset management with New York Life Real Estate Investors, according to a news release. The Manhattan resident, who will work from Gottesman’s offices in Chatham, New York City and Stamford, Connecticut, holds a bachelor’s in business management from Franklin & Marshall College and a master’s in real estate development and investment from New York University.
Gottesman Real Estate Partners is an affiliate of Edison Investment Advisors, a family office established in 1998 by Harold Gottesman, co-founder of Edison ParkFast and Manhattan Mini-Storage, with holdings including the 850,000-square-foot Hippodrome Building in Midtown Manhattan and a set of office buildings in the South End of Stamford. Last month, the firm expanded its portfolio by recapitalizing a 107-unit multifamily development in Jefferson.
