An annual event hosted by Morris Arts is returning to Morristown’s landmark M Station campus, in a program that will once again highlight real estate development through an artistic lens.
Slated for Feb. 26, the Commercial Real Estate Breakfast will take place at Sanofi’s new 260,000-square-foot flagship office at 100 Morris St., also known as M Station West. Attendees will hear a panel discussion focused on how art and design contribute to the pharmaceutical giant’s best-in-class workplace, with a lineup that includes key players who contributed to the $130 million facility, including:
- Gabriella D’Italia, artist and writer
- Meaghan Hollywood, senior director of global real estate, Sanofi
- Keenan Hughes, vice president – planning and development, SJP Properties
- Sean Massey, senior director, transit-oriented development, NJ Transit
The morning will kick off with breakfast and networking from at 7:30 a.m., followed by the panel discussion moderated by Frank Vitolo of Sills Cummis & Gross PC.
“Workplaces designed to connect and inspire employees are the future,” said Conor Evans of CB Construction Management, who co-chairs the event with Gensler’s Becky Button. “Spaces like Sanofi create an active, collaborative environment that makes it easy for employees to come together and do their best work.”
The popular Morris Arts event has taken place at locations throughout the town, including Deloitte LLP’s neighboring office building at M Station East. Both are part of a transformative mixed-use development by SJP Properties and Scotto Properties, with Gensler spearheading the design team.
Sanofi’s office includes features such as:
- Flexible and comfortable workspaces designed to look like home offices
- Colorful murals and artwork decorating the hallways
- The largest outdoor terrace in New Jersey, which includes covered seating, a bar and an exercise studio
- Wellness rooms with Pelotons
- An on-site health clinic
- A popular, contemporary restaurant open all day
- A farmer’s market on Wednesdays
- Easy access to public transportation, which Sanofi fully subsidizes for employees
“Intentional design and impactful amenities have the power to elevate the experience of any space — commercial, residential or public,” Button said. “As an arts organization, we hope this breakfast at Sanofi will inspire attendees to think boldly and build creatively designed spaces throughout our community.”
Proceeds from all tickets and sponsorships, which are available via Morris Arts’ website, will benefit the organization and help bring arts events and programs to the community. The group is offering early bird pricing through Feb. 20.
