A logistics firm is staying in place after signing a lease renewal for nearly 126,000 square feet of industrial space in Secaucus, brokers with The Blau & Berg Co. announced last week.
The operator, Arrowpac International Inc., occupies more than half of the property at 925 Paterson Plank Road under a deal with The Mack Co., according to a news release. The renewal ensures its operations at the facility will proceed uninterrupted, providing continued direct access to corridors such as the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 1 & 9 and Route 3 and easy connections to Port Newark-Elizabeth and Newark Liberty International Airport.
Blau & Berg’s Jason Crimmins and Kenneth F. Crimmins brokered the 125,806-square-foot deal, working alongside The Mack Co. Senior Vice President of Real Estate Paul Jerkovich.
“The renewal process was seamless thanks to the outstanding collaboration and professionalism of both Arrowpac and the entire team at The Mack Company,” said Jason Crimmins, the firm’s CEO and president. “Paul’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to tenant satisfaction made what could have been a complex negotiation into a straightforward, positive experience that reinforces Arrowpac’s long-term presence in this exceptional facility.”
In announcing the deal, Blau & Berg noted that Arrowpac is a premier non-vessel operating common carrier and third-party logistics provider. It provides less-than-truckload and truckload ocean and air door-to-door service between the continental United States, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean Islands.
