KRE Group has welcomed a new restaurant to Bay 151, its 625-unit luxury rental community just east of Route 440 in Bayonne.
Known as Haven House, the eatery at 151 Centre St. boasts an eclectic menu with everything from Greek, Italian and Asian specialties to custom fusions and classic comfort food, according to a description from the business. That selection complements its signature design detail: a nearly 35-foot-wide LED screen that almost fully covers one of the restaurant’s walls and provides a backdrop for major sporting events such as the World Cup, community gatherings, private celebrations, presentations and custom entertainment experiences.
“Haven House was designed to create a destination where guests can enjoy exceptional food, specialty beverages, major sporting events, celebrations and meaningful social experiences in a welcoming environment for all ages,” a member of the Haven House management team said. “Our goal is to provide an experience that combines international flavors, specialty beverages, entertainment and community under one roof.”
The representative added that Bay 151 “provides an ideal setting for Haven House,” which also has a non-alcoholic drink menu and a full selection of coffee and dessert. Additionally, the eatery has a private dining area suitable for parties and special events.
Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, Bay 151 opened in multiple phases in one of the city’s key redevelopment areas near its former military ocean terminal. Residents of Bay 151 and other KRE-owned buildings receive a discount when visiting Haven House, while guests can also earn FIFA World Rewards points by scanning the Haven House QR code when visiting.
“We are thrilled to welcome Haven House to the Bay 151 community,” KRE President Jonathan Kushner said. “Having a restaurant on property is a major quality-of-life asset for our residents, and we believe it will quickly become a popular destination for the larger Bayonne and Jersey City market and beyond.”
