The owner of a Passaic County shopping center has leased up the property, securing three new tenants with the help of a RIPCO Real Estate brokerage team.
In the largest transaction, Play Café Pompton committed to 3,619 square feet at the 125,000-square-foot Pompton Lakes Towne Square on Wanaque Avenue. The newly signed tenants also include Cookie N’ Cream and Frutta Bowls, which will occupy 1,116 and 1,560 square feet, respectively, for businesses that are now open to the public.
RIPCO’s Curtis Nassau and Matt Grundy represented the landlord, Regency Centers, in all three deals.
“We are excited to welcome three new tenants to the shopping center and the greater community,” said Nassau, an executive vice president with RIPCO. “Pompton Lakes Towne Square continues to thrive as a central hub for dining, fitness and neighborhood retail.”
Cookie N’ Cream is a gourmet dessert franchise specializing in freshly baked cookies, premium ice cream and specialty shakes, while Frutta Bowls is a health-focused fast-casual offering. Along with Play Café Pompton, an independent concept designed for mothers and children, the tenants join a roster that’s anchored by Lidl and also includes Planet Fitness, Starbucks, Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, The Paper Store, Atlantic Health System, Wendy’s and TD Bank.
“Achieving full occupancy at the shopping center is a testament to RIPCO’s determination and proven ability to successfully lease space in all market conditions,” said Grundy, an executive managing director with RIPCO’s New Jersey office.
