The Hope for Children Research Foundation has tapped an esteemed New Jersey real estate executive and a New York Giants legend to lead its executive board of advisers.
The nonprofit — whose work supports children and families facing rare diseases and serious medical challenges — said Salvatore Frassetto, chairman of Saddleback Real Estate Developers, will co-chair the group alongside Super Bowl champion, attorney and respected philanthropist Bart Oates. In doing so, they’ll play active leadership roles in helping it expand awareness, strengthen fundraising initiatives and support those navigating difficult health care journeys.
Founded more than 40 years ago with a focus on advancing children’s neurological and cancer research, the foundation has evolved into a broader support system for families, providing support, advocacy, awareness and resources to children and parents facing overwhelming circumstances, according to a news release. Helping guide that mission are Michelle Oates, president of the board of trustees, and Meg Minassian, executive director and trustee, who oversee the organization’s programs, outreach efforts and continued growth.
“Hope for Children Research Foundation has spent decades helping families facing unimaginable challenges,” Oates said. “The work being done goes beyond research alone. It’s about providing hope, support and compassion to families that truly need it.”
Supporting the foundation’s leadership efforts are board of advisers members Dean and Gina Logan of Complete Roof Systems and David Green, president of Results Advertising. Alongside fellow advisers, they help advance awareness, fundraising initiatives, community outreach and strategic partnerships that further the foundation’s mission.
Today, the organization works closely with medical professionals, researchers, donors, volunteers and community leaders to advance research, expand awareness and provide meaningful support to children and families across the country.
“This foundation has built an incredible legacy over the last 40 years,” Frassetto said. “Not only are they helping support research and awareness efforts, but they’re also helping children and families directly during some of the hardest moments in their lives. It’s an honor to be part of that mission.”
The foundation continues to bring together athletes, business leaders, philanthropists and advocates who share a common goal of improving the lives of children facing serious illnesses while supporting the families standing beside them every day, the news release said.
