Accordia Realty Ventures has completed several recent deals at a pair of Elmwood Park office buildings, including a headquarters lease with a well-known health care company.
In a news release, the firm said it was completing the build-out of a new space for BioReference Laboratories Inc., which will occupy 25,000 square feet at 619 River Drive under a recently completed transaction. The tenant, the country’s largest full-service laboratory, is set to move to the space by the end of the month.
It’s among several recent deals at 619 and 669 River Drive, also known as River Drive I and II. The properties span 114,825 and 84,069 square feet, respectively.
“Despite market headwinds, and dire predictions for post-COVID office leasing, these properties, because of management and ownership investment, continue to attract tenants who want to be in well-located, well maintained buildings,” said Joe Romano, a principal with the Fairfield-based firm.
Also at River Drive I, the law firm of John Onal & Associates has leased 6,000 square feet, according to a news release. At River Drive II, the Central Pennsylvania-based Stevens & Lee is has signed a 5,000-square-foot expansion beyond a 7,100-square-foot lease that began last December.
Meantime, Accordia has completed a lease extension with Keyence, a leading supplier of sensors, measuring systems, laser markers, microscopes and machine vision systems worldwide, for its 20,719-square-foot space at the complex.
