Urgent care chain AFC has opened its newest location in New Jersey with the debut of a nearly 4,000-square-foot facility in Livingston.
Located at 90 South Livingston Ave., the walk-in clinic is the sixth AFC franchise in northern and central New Jersey to be led by Albert Saad, owner, and Dr. Avery Browne, its medical director, according to a news release. The team recently welcomed Mayor Michael Vieira, Deputy Mayor Alfred Anthony and other dignitaries for a formal ribbon-cutting at the business, which is open seven days per week and provides care for a range of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, including minor procedures.
“We are thrilled to celebrate our latest opening, continuing a period of regional growth for our brand,” Saad said. “Our team represents one of the first — and one of the largest — AFC franchisees in New Jersey. Our growth is a testament to our high-quality medical services and outstanding team of professionals, particularly in a changing health care environment where patients appreciate expedient access to best-in-class care.”
AFC Livingston, which was open to patients on July 31, follows the team’s recent opening of a location in Clark.

AFC’s services include on-site digital x-rays and laboratory testing for quick and accurate diagnostics, physicals for sports, camp and school, DOT and immigration physicals and occupational medicine services.
