A construction firm and a developer have unveiled their new joint office in Morristown, following a merger last year aimed at better positioning both businesses.
Arc Building Partners on Tuesday announced the debut of the new location at 32 Mount Kemble Ave., which it will share with Claremont Development. The firms have relocated from Far Hills, now occupying a nearly 6,200-square-foot building that includes 4,000 square feet of office space for more than 40 associates and room to grow the workforce in the coming years.
“Arc Building Partners is committed on bringing value and collaboration to our clients. Our new office in Morristown will help us achieve this through closer proximity and stronger relationships with our partners in design and the owners of our projects,” said Frank Ciminelli II, CEO and president Arc of Building Partners. “We look forward to deepening our roots and further establishing our reputation for quality and expertise in Morris County and the region at large alongside our incredible partners at Claremont Development.”
Arc Building Partners, a Buffalo, New York-based construction management firm, has partnered with Claremont under a merger announced last year. The agreement would allow what was then Claremont Cos., a third-generation firm in New Jersey, to hand off its construction business and focus on its own fast-growing development pipeline.
The resulting businesses now have several projects underway across Morris, Hudson, Bergen, and Essex counties, according to a news release. They include Rivet II, a mixed-use redevelopment project on land owned by New Jersey City University in Jersey City, and an affordable housing complex in Newark’s Central Ward known as Somerset Brownstones.
“Being able to open our office in Morristown truly feels like a homecoming for us,” said Steve Sciaretta, a principal at Claremont. “My family grew up in this area, and many of our associates currently reside here. Claremont has owned the land since 1958, and we are thrilled to welcome the Arc team to a location that holds both a special personal and professional meaning to Claremont.”
In addition to office space, the third floor of 32 Mount Kemble features apartments that are available for rent.
Claremont, turning its focus to development, will merge construction business with Buffalo firm
