The new owner of the 465,000-square-foot former Honeywell headquarters building in Morris Plains has selected CBRE as its leasing agent at the property.
The brokerage team, which includes Sean Morley, Edward DaCosta and EJ DaCosta, announced Friday that it was marketing 250,000 square feet of furnished space at 115 Tabor Road. The assignment follows Argent Ventures’ recent purchase of the campus, which is just west of Route 202 and minutes from the downtowns of both Morris Plains and Morristown.
“We are excited to bring this prominent office space to the market,” Morley said. “The Crossing at Tabor Road is ideally positioned to meet the new demands of tenants post pandemic. The property is fully furnished for companies looking to reduce capital expenditure for build-outs and offers a suburban location with convenient access to Manhattan for tenants seeking to execute ‘hub and spoke’ strategies.”
Now known as The Crossing at Tabor Road, the building is home to a high-end fitness center with a yoga studio, multi-room conference centers with town hall seating for 400 guests, a café and bocce and basketball courts, among other amenities. CBRE also touted the addition of COVID-19 health safety enhancements such as touchless access and air filtration.
Honeywell, which still maintains a sizable presence at the site, sold the property to Argent Ventures after announcing in late 2018 that it was moving its front office to North Carolina. CBRE also brokered the sale, the terms of which were not disclosed.
