Avison Young has announced a new director of project management in its New Jersey office after a recent promotion.

The firm said Paul Mastroeni, previously a senior manager, will now take on an even more prominent leadership role for the Morristown-based project management team. With nearly a decade at the company, he has overseen project management-related activities for the Avison Young New Jersey office, with work that includes larger corporate interiors, ground-up construction projects and site work improvements throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Mastroeni has directed several projects in recent years, including multiple developments simultaneously for ADP, IMG and Walmart, according to a news release. Currently, he is working on one of the larger interior fit-out projects in New Jersey.
“Paul has been one of our top project management professionals and we congratulate him on this well-deserved promotion to director,” said Tracey Kasper, principal and vice president of project management with Avison Young. “He has successfully helped many national businesses who are faced with the challenge of building, expanding or renovating their facilities. Our project management platform remains one of our most important service lines, and we look forward to Paul’s future contributions that will further enhance our relationships and expand the Avison Young reach.”
In a news release, the firm said Mastroeni’s responsibilities have also included generating overall project objectives and developing budgets, schedules and communication plans to successfully manage a project from conception to completion. The company added that his years of project management experience have allowed him to foresee potential risk areas and provide alternate solutions when needed.
For ADP, IMG and Walmart, he helped define a strategy and process for their facility projects around the country, resulting in a more streamlined process and improved oversight for the organizations.
“This is an exciting time for the Avison Young project management team and I’m excited to increase my role and responsibilities as well as create even more customized solutions that successfully address the full spectrum of our clients’ needs,” Mastroeni said.
