A new Pearle Vision is opening in Metuchen after taking space at a highway commercial property, according to a brokerage team with Azarian Realty Co.
Operated by TEHG, a local franchisee, the store will occupy 2,400 square feet at the Plaza K Shopping Center, backfilling a portion of an end-cap space that previously housed Sleep Number, the leasing team said in a news release. The location at 171 Route 1 South, a two-story, 27,555-square-foot complex with eight tenant spaces, joins tenants such as The Vitamin Shoppe, Fast Bagel, House of Dentistry, Pho One Vietnamese Restaurant, Crème de la Crème Loft and Any Garment Cleaners.
Azarian’s Kevin Pelio represented both parties, noting that TEHG operates nine Pearle Vision stores in the region. The national chain provides eye exams and eyeglass fittings and sells designer frames and lenses.
