B6 Real Estate Advisors has bolstered its team in New Jersey with the appointment of a new director, in one of several newly announced moves by the capital markets firm.

Based in Manhattan, the company said Nat Buono is the latest member of its capital advisory division and specializes in debt and equity placement on behalf of commercial real estate owners. He focuses on the middle market space in northern New Jersey.
B6 has also promoted both Lynn Marcello and Nicole Schmidt to the director position.
“As B6’s capital advisory practice continues to expand and deliver the highest level of service to our clients, we are not only attracting top new talent, but also growing our team internally,” said Joseph Tufariello, president of the capital advisory division at B6 Real Estate Advisors. “Nat brings a strong finance background and will be essential in increasing our New Jersey presence. Lynn and Nicole are incredible assets to our capital advisory team in the Queens market. They both play a fundamental role in our continued growth and success.”
Prior to joining B6, Buono was the analytical and execution lead at Wells Fargo’s commercial mortgage banking group based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, according to a news release. During his more than three years in that role, the eight-member team arranged more than $3 billion in financing, with a focus on bringing third-party capital to the bank’s institutional clients.
Buono’s past roles also include working as a senior analyst at Kroll Bond Rating Agency, the news release said. As one of the initial members of the agency’s analytics team, he was responsible for producing actionable trade guidance for investors in commercial mortgage-backed securities investors, who included the nation’s foremost pension and hedge funds.
“B6 offers an immense opportunity to work alongside incredibly talented professionals in a collaborative environment,” Buono said. “I’m eager to continue to expand B6’s footprint in New Jersey and I look forward to providing the utmost value to our clients and the capital advisory team.”
Buono earned a bachelor’s in business administration from Temple University and is a native of Philadelphia.
B6 also noted that Marcello, formerly an associate director, structures and sources debt and equity on behalf of clients with a focus on the middle-market space. She works with the B6 investment sales team in the Queens neighborhoods of Long Island City, Astoria, Sunnyside and Woodside to provide financing solutions to building owners.
Previously a senior associate, Schmidt specializes in debt and equity placement on behalf of commercial real estate owners, with a focus on the middle-market space in central Queens.
