Two food operators are coming to a new mixed-use development near the Aberdeen train station, following recent leases brokered by Pierson Commercial.
The larger of the two, Brooklyn Bagelry, has leased 2,356 square feet at the project known as The Link at Aberdeen Station, Pierson said. The store will be the second location for the business, which originated in Hoboken and is looking to take advantage of the 1 million riders per year who walk past the site to catch a train, most of whom are commuters during breakfast hours.
Pierson Commercial was the only broker involved in the transaction.
The other new tenant, Frutta Bowls, has leased 1,932 square feet for what will be the newest of several franchise locations throughout the state. Jason Pierson and Ryan Starkman of Pierson Commercial represented the landlord, while Seth Katz of Legacy Commercial represented the tenant.
The mixed-use project, developed by BNE Real Estate, sits at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Harrison Street, is just steps from an NJ Transit station offering rail service to New York Penn Station or Hoboken. The site also offers quick access to the Garden State Parkway and routes 34 and 35.
Pierson is marketing an additional 2,690-square-foot space at the property.
