Brian Banaszynski, the president of Heller Industrial Parks for the past five years, has left the Edison-based company.
The industry veteran said Monday that he and Heller parted ways as part of a mutual agreement. He declined to elaborate on his future plans.
“It was mutually agreeable and it was on amicable terms,” Banaszynski said.
Banaszynski joined Heller in late 2013, overseeing a portfolio that includes more than 16 million square of feet across six states, according to its website. Over some 30 years, he has also worked as an executive for other major developers and owners such as Advance Realty, M. Alfieri Co. Inc. and Mack-Cali Realty Corp.
Heller, a 53-year-old company, is one of the country’s largest privately held industrial owners and also has several developments sites under control and in its pipeline.
