A biopharmaceutical company has renewed its lease and expanded in downtown Jersey City, where it now occupies more than 5,800 square feet.
According to Equity Real Estate Brokerage LLC, which arranged the deals, Celltrion’s initial space at 1 Evertrust Plaza spanned 1,207 square feet. In addition to renewing the lease, the Incheon, South Korea-based firm expanded to another suite for an additional 4597 square feet.
Equity’s Steven Muller negotiated the five-year leases, noting that the company specializes in so-called biosimilars. In a separate deal, also at 1 Evertrust, Royal Communications Consultants Inc. signed a three-year, 1,435-square-foot commitment.
Muller noted that RCC is a full-service IT firm providing solutions for the development and support of IT infrastructure.
