Two tenants at a Hasbrouck Heights industrial building have signed lease renewals totaling more than 87,000 square feet, according to brokers with NAI James E. Hanson.
The landlord, Bridge Logistics Properties, completed the deals with Skyline Windows LLC and
Direct Freight Express roughly six months after acquiring the 206,458-square-foot property
at 5 Plant Road. NAI Hanson’s Scott K. Perkins, Christopher Todd and William Ericksen represented ownership, while Newmark and Cushman & Wakefield represented the respective tenants.
“We’re excited to retain both Skyline and DFX following our acquisition,” said Hank Klehm, vice president for asset management with BLP. “Their decision to renew shows that tenants continue to value properties that are functional, well located and benefit from institutional ownership and management.”
In announcing the deals, which total 87,229 square feet, NAI Hanson noted that the 7.52-acre property is easily accessible from routes 17 and 46, Interstate 80, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.
“Skyline Windows and DFX’s decision to renew their leases highlights the continued desirability to well-located industrial properties,” Perkins said. “In a time when many businesses are looking to cut costs by relocating or downsizing, 5 Plant Road continues to provide a superior experience that supports the continued growth of each of its tenants.”
